General Objectives
Our objective is to help participants to attain an ongoing perception of life as a dynamic Being-in-Becoming. A stable realization of this perspective requires a thorough-going inquiry into the fundamental structures of perception, intuition and ethical relationship. The primary methods that we use are rigorous meditation and contemplation as well as other awareness techniques. While greatly inspired by the works of Muhyiddin Ibn al-Arabi (d. 1240 CE), we do not function as a formal Sufi Order. Instead, our purpose is to prepare students to become self-responsible and independent practitioners of non-dualistic awareness, regardless of formal religious affiliation.
